Chapter 1058 - 434: Scepter Level Elemental Treasure (3)
The others just stood there in a daze, staring at all kinds of storms constantly surging up around them.
This was only the most basic kind of mutual fusion, but at a time like this, Alka was especially suited to mixing wind Element with the other Elements.
Like this, all sorts of Elements fused into all kinds of bizarre attacks, continuously emerging around them.
"...Insane, this is really insane."
Simon stared and muttered to himself.
Once Elements merged with each other and formed even more outrageous attacks, the flexibility of this Treasure had already risen to a ridiculous level.
"These are all just two-Element fusions. Can you do three, or even more?" Chadite had somehow jumped onto Alka’s shoulder, looking at him as he asked.
Compared to two-fold fusion, three-fold fusion was definitely harder, but it might also create even more interesting attack methods.
Hearing this, Alka nodded and said, "Of course I can, but the problem is I’ve only just mastered this Treasure. Two-Element fusion is already the best I can manage right now."
But after he finished, Alka thought for a moment. "I’ll give it a try."
As he spoke, Alka looked at the six cards floating before him, thinking about which three Elements would be suitable to fuse together, and also which he could actually pull off at his current stage.
Alka then came up with the simplest three-Element fusion, one he should be able to manage.
After all, he had only just gotten the hang of this Treasure.
Thinking it through, white-blue Ice, water-blue Water, and clear Wind stacked together.
First, the water currents floated up, a light breeze curling the water, and then a tornado formed, though for now you could only see streams of water swirling within the funnel.
The surrounding water it dragged along looked like it was about to form a whirlpool bulging out of the sea’s surface.
Alka controlled the amount of water, letting the tornado rise up to avoid sinking to the seabed and turning into a whirlpool.
Coldness entered the water currents, and using their flexibility, the water formed one icy blade-like dagger after another.
This was something that couldn’t be made with just Ice and fierce Wind alone; those two together could only produce a blizzard-like large-area freezing effect.
But now it had directly taken shape as a killing vortex.
Ice Blades within the tornado spun madly, their cold light flashing clearly under the sunlight.
More water turned into icy blade-like daggers.
Alka controlled a brown card, letting it float alone to the side.
One stone after another condensed out, each one shaped by Alka into a humanoid form before he tossed them into the Ice Blade whirlwind.
The moment they were thrown in, they were instantly shredded into gravel powder, which was then sucked into the whirlwind.
Looking at this killing storm, Jason couldn’t help touching his own neck, feeling goosebumps rise all over.
After maintaining control for a while, Alka immediately dispelled the storm, panting heavily.
This three-Element fusion burned through more stamina and Magic Power than all that time he’d just been playing around earlier put together.
"Mixing three Elements at once is still a bit forced. I’ll have to practice my control."
Right now Alka had only just mastered it and could only freely control attacks produced by two-Element fusion.
Moreover, Element fusion wasn’t only for offense; in all sorts of ways it could give them advantages.
"It’s already great. This is more than good enough." Juanlu couldn’t help saying from the side.
This Treasure was clearly extremely powerful.
"You really have become a Grand Mage of Elements now." Jason patted Alka on the shoulder as he spoke.
There wasn’t a hint of teasing—just sincere praise.
Alka gave a light wave in the air, and the six cards vanished.
"Of course, no need to call me an Elemental Grandmaster. Just call me Grand Mage." Alka couldn’t help laughing as he said it.
Hearing this, Chadite nodded by his side and said, "You know, that really does fit. Think about it carefully."
Through Mirror and space, he could open the Mirror Surface’s space and enter a world belonging to Alka. He could change his appearance and mimic other creatures. With the Dream Realm’s mist, he could even control a bit of luck. And now he had all these Elements—Alka really was like a Mage.
Mysterious and unpredictable, and at the same time absurdly strong.
"Hahaha, alright, enough about that. Didn’t Simon’s Treasure already get finished?" As he spoke, Alka looked over at Simon.
Hearing that, Simon finally remembered he also needed to show off his own Treasure.
He simply opened his hand, and a metal orb wrapped in hollowed-out gold floated up from his palm.
This metal orb had a strong sci-fi, futuristic style, deep blue Energy radiance shining out through the openwork gaps.
"The simple way to use it is like this."
Simon spoke as he grabbed the orb, and metal material surged out from his metal arm, wrapping around the orb and reshaping it into a sword hilt.
Then Energy gathered, and a flickering Energy Blade extended straight up from the hilt. This was the core function of the Treasure: the gathering of Energy.
Magic Power poured into the hilt; the Energy seemed to accumulate more and more. Simon gave a fierce swing. A slash of sword-qi-like Energy cleaved out, carving a hollowed-out gash across the sea’s surface.
In his hands, the blade began to change again, transforming into a futuristic openwork-style firearm.
Or maybe you could call it a hand Cannon or something like that?
He raised the gun and fired directly into the distance, but this configuration seemed to have quite a bit of recoil; with that single shot Simon even staggered back a step.
An Energy ball was instantly launched into the sea, and with a boom, it blew up a huge spray of water.
"Of course, that’s just the most basic use. The real application is to combine it with my other Treasures."
The reason he’d made all his Treasures mechanical-style was naturally to match his earliest Treasure, the index finger, which enhanced mechanical functions.
As he spoke, the mechanical scales on his body began to expand and extend, and in an instant Simon completed his transformation. The Armor on his transformed body extended again and turned into a Mecha standing on the deck.
The Mecha’s arm and some materials from its shoulder began to flow into that orb from just now.
Using the orb as the core, they formed a gigantic cannon-rifle two and a half meters long and half a meter thick.
The Mecha’s metal hands braced this massive Cannon, and some additional mechanical parts on his body locked onto its upper frame.
The Treasure on his index finger seemed to be flaring as well, pushing the machine into an overloaded state.
The group could feel Magic Power gathering in bulk; the way it pooled was somewhat like a Magic Gathering Stone.
Clearly, in order to rapidly gather Magic Power, Simon had used other methods in its construction.
The Mecha’s legs started to change, becoming flat and wide, pressing against the deck like a gun carriage.
"Bang!"
A tremendous boom.
An Energy beam as thick as an adult’s shoulder shot straight into the seawater.
When the Energy vanished—
A deep hollow appeared on the sea’s surface, and massive amounts of seawater rushed in to fill it.
Then the seabed below seemed to erupt in a huge explosion.
Countless bubbles rose, and the surface of the sea suddenly bulged up in a giant dome.
Clearly, that explosion had detonated deep down on the ocean floor.
This was the combo attack and function Simon had designed around his Treasure.
It filled the gap in his lack of a strong, powerful offensive means.
